Hi, my name is Christina Dorizas. Food has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I loved to experiment by cooking with different flavors and by high school I was cooking dinner for my family several nights a week. I grew up in a home with pretty heavy Greek and Dutch influences where bread and pasta were staples in my diet. In college, I was struggling with digestive issues, migraines and feeling generally awful. Around that time, I had some funky blood work and my doctor suggested I try a gluten-free diet to see if it helped.

Within a few months, I started to feel much better, my migraines went away almost entirely and my stomach issues subsided. Despite feeling better, the lack of tasty gluten-free food options available was a huge disappointment. This inspired me to start blogging; developing my own gluten-free recipes and reviewing tasty products and restaurants.
Over time, I have developed interests in holistic wellness, fitness and travel. I love testing out different ways of eating and try to incorporate low-carb, vegan and paleo recipes into my diet. I also love to travel and plan trips as frequently as my wallet and day job will allow for, so expect to see some posts from adventures I go on as well as the occasional fitness and wellness posts here also.
I live with my fiance, Josh, a few blocks away from the lake in Chicago and lead an extremely active lifestyle, spending as much time outside as possible when the weather allows for it.

I Don’t Eat No Wheat is a way for me to share recipes and general wellness tips that help me feel my best physically and mentally. I hope it can also help others with finding a lifestyle that works for them. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at idonteatnowheat@gmail.com. Thanks and I hope you enjoy my blog!
